I see a maths lesson coming on…

  • What time is is?  9 o’clock

  • Time for your eye drops.

  • 2 eye drops, one in each eye - you have 2 eyes.

  • They sting for 20 seconds… counting down from 20… and zero, all good?

  • Now we have 30 minutes to get dressed, have breakfast and get into the car.

  • Reached hospital.

  • It says ‘keep left’ - what side is left?

  • Checked in at 9.40am.

  • Which room are we waiting for? 1 or 2?

  • When are you going to see Ella?  Next Tuesday - today is…

  • Waiting, waiting, time passing very slowly.

  • Now it is 10.15am and we are still waiting.

  • Finally!

  • She is putting the funny glasses ON your face.

  • Look up, look down, look left, look right.

  • Good job Lance.

  • We need to pay for parking… what does that say?

  • 5, yes £5.  Can you help me put it in?  Thank you.

  • Yes, maths over for today!

Making our way back to the car, my phone rings…

It’s the hospital, different department - oh there’s been a cancellation.

Yes, Lance can make an appointment at midday tomorrow….
