Statistics is the formal name for handling information and data and it is a very important part of maths in life - from reading bus and train timetables to making shopping lists, from working out the best mobile phone plan to analysing electricity usage over the year. 1L3.12 Sort and classify objects using a single criterion

Sort & Count 2D Shapes WORKBOOK - This 28-page workbook contains circles, squares, triangles and rectangles. It is about categorising the four 2D shapes, sorting, counting and recording the results on a table. Sort & Count by Colour WORKBOOK - This 38-page workbook is focused on categorising items by colour. The first 12 pages focus on the basic colours - red, blue, green and yellow - categorisation of three different colours; 8 sheets with colours listed on the table and 4 sheets with blank tables. The next 12 pages also include black, white, orange, purple, pink, brown and grey; 8 sheets with the colours listed on the table and 4 sheets with blank tables.
