  • Does the resource meet a genuine need?

  • How easy is the resource to implement and use?

  • Can the resource be adapted for use in different settings?

“Maths For Life is a revolutionary programme that enables children to succeed and function as members of society.” - Julie Hollinshead, Appleton Thorn Primary School

“Our staff have found the resources easy to access, clear and strategically broken down into achievable targets. The children have benefitted and made progress where concepts are abstract, and love using the resources and ideas through Maths For Life.” - Emily Osabu-Matthews, SENDCo, Danegrove Primary School

“I’d just like to say what a breath of fresh air it is for someone to be speaking with such common sense about the importance of functional maths skills and how great the programme you have developed is.  My son Luke was really struggling with the mainstream curriculum but is now achieving so much better and I am recommending it in all the schools I work with for those children with DS and also those who are working below age expectations.” - Suzanne Pass, Director of Educational Excellence, Kingfisher Learning Trust

“Maths For Life presents a wonderful opportunity for students with additional learning needs to get to grips with the language of maths in a highly visual format. By contextualising mathematical concepts, realistically and practically, it allows pupils to grasp a more profound understanding of numerical operations, grounded in true life examples.” - Rosanne Bernstein, SENDCO, Lubavitch Senior Girls' School

"I've finally attended a maths training course which is relevant.” - Holly Budd, Teacher, Pathfield School, Devon

“I work in a special school for children aged 4-19 and we are integrating your programme into our primary curriculum. We absolutely love Maths For Life, it’s so refreshing as a Maths Lead to finally have something designed with our learners in mind rather than always having to adapt something made for mainstream. Keep up the good work, it’s amazing!” - Katie Pollock, Maths Lead, Ellesmere College

”Thanks so much for all the knowledge, effort and enthusiasm you brought to the session.  The sessions you posted in lockdown were inspirational and I will continue to alert schools to your approach.”  - Alexis Beaver, Barnet Education & Learning Service

The Prime Minister understands the importance of mathematical development for all children and your book will certainly assist both teachers and parents with this endeavour in a creative and fun method.
